Log line: In a dystopian future, a quirky space traveler invites viewers on an Architectural Digest-style tour of her seemingly normal spaceship home, where everyday objects take on bizarre roles in a world struggling for survival.
In the Fall of 2023, I conducted a self-directed research project to reimagine the future of entertainment—specifically advertising. With emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality reshaping the way we consume and interact with media, as well as my passion for innovation and staying ahead of the curve, I embarked on this journey of exploration and discovery.
I chose to go with Architectural Digest's Open Home series as it is not only highly successful, garnering significant views and engagement, but also remarkably adaptable as evident by the diverse roster of celebrity participants.
This includes cutting-edge technologies such as motion capture, artificial intelligence (AI) tools, virtual production, and more, all poised to revolutionize the advertising landscape with their transformative capabilities.
By studying the synergy between motion capture and other virtual production techniques, I aim to discover innovative solutions for the advertising industry to create content more efficiently, thereby enhancing its competitiveness in a changing digital landscape.
